What was not expected was during check out at 9am, the same guy in his basket ball shorts wife beater tee-shirt took my key cards. Also given the remote sketchy looking neighborhood where this hotel is located. Should be noted, when I arrived, it was near mid-night and having to do check in and payment thru a security window instead of the regular lobby was not unexpected. I needed a bed-down place and this was one of the cheaper option available. My itinerary had me arriving around 11pm and my final destination is a ranch 150 miles east of Lubbock. This was a place where I needed to spend the night after a long flight into LBB from SEA. Plus, during your trip, don't forget to check out a park, such as Mackenzie Park.
